Helloooo everyone! How are you all?
It is now the end of September. Happy October! Halloween is near)We are also now in Autumn (yay). Autumn is my favourite season so I’m quite happy about that. What I’m not happy about is the fact that it got cold VERY quickly where I live. ‘First’ day of Autumn and we have a thunder storm. I’m a person that doesn’t like the cold (weird right, saying that my favourite season is a colder one). I do, however, like being inside with a nice mug of hot chocolate and a good book in hand while it rains outside. It makes me feel cozy and happy. Is this just me?
Anyway, I said I would do another monthly favourites post so here it is.
Movies
Enola Holmes.

This film was released on Netflix on 23rd of September. I watched it on its release date and I LOVED it. I had seen a trailer for this before it came out as I follow Millie Bobby Brown (the actress who plays Enola Holmes) on Instagram so I was already looking forward to this.
I had never actually watched Sherlock Holmes (which is, I think, what this film is based off of) but I thought this would be right down my street. And it was. 100% recommended.
TV Shows
Shadow Hunters.

Also on Netflix. I had tried watching this a few months ago and got to, like, series 1 episode 8 and then stopped watching it. I started watching it again at the beginning of the month and have come to the realisation that I love it. I have nearly finished it now (I’m on season 3) and I watch it whenever I can. I binge-watched season 2 the whole weekend the other week.
Music
Pulled by Carrie Hope Fletcher.
This song is from the Addams Family UK tour. Carrie Hope Fletcher plays Wednesday Addams. I only listened to this recently but I just love how strong and powerful this song is and how well it suits her voice.
Soundtrack
Beetlejuice cast recording.
Another musical. I’m really into them at the minute. I haven’t actually seen the show and I don’t know all of the songs yet but I love them. Particularly ‘Dead Mom’ as I think that song is quite emotional and Sophia Anne Caruso portrayed the character in such an amazing way, even through singing you can tell she’s really feeling the character. I also loved ‘Say My Name’, I quite like the fact that it’s almost like a conversation between Lydia and Beetlejuice.
Skincare
Aveeno Moisturiser.

This moisturiser is one of the most hydrating and smoothest ones I have ever used. Also as a sufferer of exema, this hasn’t set it off which is a good thing and it isn’t even the moisturiser for sensitive skin. I have been using this for just over a year now and I still love it. I think it’s particularly helpful when on holiday in a hot country. You know, after sitting in the sun all day and being in the pool with the chlorine, it feels so satisfying to apply.
Book
Gone by Micheal Grant.

This is the book I have been reading this month. Book review coming soon.
Thank you for reading. I hope you have a great rest of your week!
