Hello everyone!I hope you are all well!Personally, I have been feeling a little bit fed up recently being stuck in lockdown (well, not quite lock down anymore but whatever we are in right now. It’s a weird time right now, isnt it?), not going out and not having much to do.The main thing that has been getting me through is reading and music. What’s been getting you through?

WARNING: Spoilers!
This week I decided to do another book review as I have just finished reading ‘The Map From Here to There’ by Emery Lord (another one of her books, I know, but what can I say? She’s an amazing author, in my opinion).I really enjoyed this book too. It is the sequel to ’The Start of Me and You’ (Please check out the book review I did on that). All the original characters are in this book plus some new ones which help Paige along her way.The genres of this book are: fiction, bildungsroman, Young Adult, Contemporary, Romance and Realistic Fiction. This books theme’s are: choices, saying ‘yes’ (if this is a theme, I’m not sure), relationships, personal growth and anxiety.
This book follows seventeen-year-old, Paige Hancock, through her Senior year of high school. It shows the struggles she faced choosing which college to pick and trying to make her relationship work with Max Watson whilst fearing he may follow her to college instead of gowing his own way. There is a lot of worry surrounding her relationship with Max and her friendship with the girls, wondering where everyone will end up.
This book is quite the emotional rollercoaster, yet again (I really seem to like these sort of books, haha). However, it made me think about my choices after school and the decisions that I may have to make and who or what I may have to factor into my future choices. This makes the book memorable for me. I think I will look back and think, what did Paige Hancock do? What did Paige Hancock say?
It has made me learn to have a new outlook on universities and what subjects I should major in.
I truly recommend this book and that you read it (however read ’The Start of Me an You first).
Thank for reading,Paige.
