The end of the month means another ‘Books I Read in…’ post so here it is.

1) ‘Johnny Be Good’ by Paige Toon.

Cool, calm Christian, in town to write his famous friend’s biography, helps keep Meg’s feet firmly on the ground. But with Johnny’s percing green eyes and a body Brad Pitt would kill for, how long will it be before she’s swept right off them again?

What a rollercoaster! This book had my emotions going crazy. When I first read the synopsis for this book, I didn’t know how I felt about it but now I’m so glad I’ve read it. I love Meg. I felt bad for how she was treat by Johnny and every time he did something that hurt her I literally almost cried.It took me a while to warm up to Johnny. He’s not the type of person I would usually hang around with and so when we first meet him in the book, I was rather skeptical of his character but he grew on me towards the end. I had been rooting for Johnny and Meg throughout the book until towards the end when we see even more of Christian and how much he cares for Meg.Christian is so sweet and I can see how he is perfect for Meg but then I felt just as conflicted as Meg because she fit well with both Christian and Johnny. I can see her with either and I can’t wait to see which path the next book takes Meg down.Don’t even get me started on the epilogue! I can’t wait for the next book! Absolutely stunning writing as expected, Ms Toon.
